Tales of the Abyss 3DS Announced

Yeah, I myself is kinda doubt this news, but take a look at this pic!

Namco Bandai has announced that they will be bringing Tales of the Abyss to the Nintendo 3DS in 2011, which has now been reported on by a variety of different sources.  Yeah, looks like it really WILL be released in 3DS. But I still can't believe it, like how can handheld like 3DS able to emulate a game like TotA when even a console like PS2 have a trouble running it (namely load time).

Is 3DS powerfull enough to run it without a longer load time from it's PS2 counterpart (which is already reaaaly LONG). Yeah, I know 3DS will use a microSD (or was it not a microSD) that have up to 2 GB memory, but still it's far from PS2 DVD size (3,7 GB). And as you can see from the picture, the graphics looks really fluid and smooth. I also kinda intrested in what Bamco will do with 3DS capability to projecting 3D effect. Will they use it to make Majinken go off the screen ? Or maybe they will use it to make Tear's melon go jiggles off screen. Yeah, I know I'm dreaming XD.

 

Tales of the Abyss is a PS2 game released by Bamco. It tells the story about a young spoiled brat named Luke fon Fabre. One day, when he was training with his "Master" Van, a mysterius intruder, Tear Grants came to his mansion and suddenly trying to attack Van. But unfortunately Luke is trying to protect Van and block Tear's attack. A clash between this two activate Luke's seventh fonon and teleported them to some forest in Kimlascan territiory. From this point, Luke's adventure begins. The adventure that will change his life, and world.

Tales of the Abyss often regarded to having a "BEST" story in Tales series. It's story is really original and epic, althrough it doesn't have too many romance in it's story. But that's okay IMO. Who needs romance anyway ??.

Overall, this is an interesting news to follow. We'll see how Bamco will make this game.

Whether it'll meet my expactations or not ??
Or more importantly, whether it'll get localized or not.
Now it's all up to Bamco.
